hello people !!
When you start studying Astrology, one of the first things you learn is the Ascendant, since it is one of the most important points in a Celestial chart.
but the explanation for this point i have ever found in books of Astrology has always been pretty disapointing to me, very ambigous to me...
With the passing of years and more years i have come to an interpretation which is very effective for me, and is based in the popular expression "the dough you are made of". We say this expression in Spanish (I live in Spain), and i think it also is said in English that way, and other tongues.
please tell me what you think of this expression "the dough you are made of" to explain the effect of the Ascendant; or if you have any idea about that.
!! thankyou !! |

Greetings! I started studying astrology relatively recently.
This science originated in Mesopotamia, and later astrological concepts were formed in China in the V-VI century. BC and approximately the same time formed the astrological system of the druids.
This science is very interesting, as it carries the function of determining the influence of celestial bodies on human life and its fate.
When I was working on a research paper for a college on theme Astrology and the reasons for its popularity, I used many different resources that helped write my thesis online.
Astrology gives for peoples a universal method of knowing his own essence and capabilities.

Keep in mind that the Ascendant is a very peculiar thing in Astrology: it is the only notion that is not geometrical in nature. It is entirely defined by visibility. Hence it is the most active part in a Horoscope
If you want to use the metaphor of baking, then it is maximally away from the dough. It is in fact rather the form the dough is pressed in... or the oven baking it. |
